Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme in Sanaleibak The findings of the CAG reflected the reality of our poorest children and mothers in the villages. When an Anganwadi Centre has no toilet, no drinking water and no medicine, it is our child in SANALEIBAK who suffers. The Poknapham Newspaper, Imphal (dated 30 September 2026), citing the CAG Report for the period (2018-19) to (2023-24), discovered that the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme in Manipur has suffered from serious deficiencies in planning, infrastructure, staffing and monitoring, leading to denial of benefits to a large number of intended beneficiaries.
