 Digital India 2027: How India is Becoming a Digital Superpower

The year 2027 is going to be a big year for Digital India. We will see a system from a small tea shop in Imphal using QR code to big companies in Bangalore making AI software, digital is everywhere in Bharat now. India is not just using digital in 2027, but leading the world in digital. UPI is the biggest success story of Digital India in 2027. UPI now is working in Singapore, Dubai, France, Japan and USA respectively. India is going to have 25 billion UPI transactions every month in 2027.

This is a journey from vegetable seller to shopping mall, and everyone will be using UPI. Even my family in Imphal is using UPI for daily shopping. No cash is needed. Moreover, 5G will reach every district of India in 2027. 6G testing has already started in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Internet is becoming very fast now. About 80 crore Indians are using internet daily. For instance, Jio and Airtel have covered even small villages of Manipur and Nagaland with 5G. Moreover, online classes, online doctor consultation and online farming advice are found to be easy. AI will be the added new growth story of India in 2027. Indian IT companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro will be earning more than $300 billion from AI and software export. Startups in India will create more than 60 lakh new jobs. Many young boys and girls from Imphal, Guwahati and Shillong will also be working in IT and making digital marketing from home. They will no longer need to go to Bangalore now. Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is going to help small shop owners in 2027. A small handloom seller from Manipur will now be able to sell his product to Delhi and Mumbai directly through ONDC. There will no need for the middleman. Digital India is going to help our local businesses to become national. Digital payments, DigiLocker, e-Hospital and DBT are making government services very easy and fast in 2027. Farmers will get subsidy directly in their  bank account. Students will get scholarship directly. No more corruption. 

There will be increasing space for Aadhaar and DigiLocker store all our documents safe. About 50 crore people will use DigiLocker in 2027. Cybersecurity will pose big challenge in 2027. Online fraud and fake news will be increasing. Government has to start new cyber police stations in every state. People should be careful about our data. They should not share OTP and bank details with anyone. Digital India will not just a government scheme in 2027, it will be part of our daily life. From a small farmer checking weather on phone to ISRO using AI for rockets, digital will help every citizen of India. If People keep focusing on digital literacy and internet safety, Bharat will become the world's digital superpower before 2030.

MSPDCL in SANALEIBAK Education cannot move on emergency lamps and mobile data  MSPDCL's service today was highly irresponsible and condemnable. Conducting a PhD viva as an external examiner from Manipur for a student in Hyderabad without electricity, on mobile data and with two lamps, is unacceptable. This is negligence towards education and shows complete apathy to students and academicians. If you cannot provide stable and dignified power, how will digital education succeed? Education cannot run on emergency lamps and mobile data. Power is not free — we pay for it.
