Green Energy 2027: Bharat's Journey to Clean Future

The year 2027 is a big year for Green Energy in Bharat. Starting from the solar panels in Rajasthan desert to windmills in Tamil Nadu coast, India will become a green energy superpower in 2027. Even in Manipur, we see solar lights in villages and electric scooters at Imphal city now.

In 2027, India is going to cross 150 GW solar power capacity. This is something very big. The set target is 500 GW clean energy by 2030, and  the country is moving fast. In 2027, 40% of India's electricity will be coming from solar, wind and hydro. Not from coal. This is really  good for our air and health.

Electric Vehicles seem to grow very fast in 2027. About 15% of all new cars sold in India are almost electric now. Ola, Tata, Mahindra are making electric cars and scooters in India. In Imphal city too, many young people are buying electric scooters because petrol is costly and electric is cheap. One charge can go 150 km.

National Green Hydrogen Mission is starting in 2027 in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Ladakh. Green Hydrogen is made from water using solar power. It can be used for trucks, ships and factories. India envisions to become world leader in Green Hydrogen. This is going to give energy security and people will not need to import crude oil.

Government provides subsidy for solar panels in 2027. PM Surya Ghar Yojana gives money to families to put solar on rooftop. In Manipur also, many houses in Imphal and Thoubal have solar on roof now. Their electricity bill is zero and now they even sell extra power to government.

But people will challenges in 2027. Battery storage is costly. Solar power is only in day time, not in night. We need better batteries. Also, electric charging stations are less in Northeast. We need more charging stations from Imphal to Moreh road and Imphal to Ukhrul road.

Green Energy in 2027 is not just about electricity, it is about new jobs. Solar installation, EV repairing, battery making — these are going to create jobs to 10 lakh youth in India. Young boys from Manipur can learn EV repairing and get good job in future. This is future skill.

If Bharat keeps focusing on solar, wind and electric vehicles, the country is going to become a clean and rich country before 2047. Green Energy 2027 shows that Bharat cares for nature and also for development. This is the Bharat way.

Conducting a PhD viva as an external examiner from Manipur for a student in Hyderabad without electricity, on mobile data and with two lamps, is unacceptable.
